I'm excited to announce Orangewood Animal Hospital has decided to join forces with Palo Verde Animal Hospital starting August 21st, 2023.

After this date, I will see clients and their pets at Palo Verde's facility near the corner of E Northern Ave and N 12th St, about three minutes away from Orangewood's current building.

This transition is great for Orangewood clients as well as myself because we will have access to additional resources and staff to serve you better. But don't worry, you'll still see familiar faces as the Orangewood team moves with me.

As an existing client, you do not need to do anything differently from today except remember to visit Palo Verde Animal Hospital's location at 1215 E Northern Ave for your appointments after August 21st. All existing appointments, medications, and medical records will be transferred to the Palo Verde location at that time. For now, please continue to call Orangewood for any scheduling needs, then call Palo Verde for scheduling after August 21st at 602-944-9661. You will receive reminders for future appointments from Palo Verde, but it will still be me when you arrive!

We are very excited to welcome back DR. PATRICK WAITE to our practice!! He has returned from Scotland to help us and our patients! For those of you who do not know Dr. Waite, call today for an appointment. He is an amazing veterinarian and surgeon and we are so happy to welcome him back with us!

We were so happy to welcome back Dr. Patrick Waite this week. Dr. Waite has returned from Scotland and will be working with us again until the end of March. He worked at Orangewood for several years until last year when he moved back to Scotland. He is an excellent veterinarian and surgeon and we are very lucky to have his expertise with us for several months. Welcome back, Dr. Waite!!

We are all so very saddened to lose our friend, Winston. He was a staple around Orangewood for many years. He sat on my lap and helped me do charts more times than I could count. I will miss my good friend. We now only have Samantha and she is waffling between grieving (being crankier than usual) and being happy to be the top "dog". Thank you for all the love you (our clients) gave Winston over the years. He will forever be in our hearts.

****Update on Orangewood Animal Hospital procedures during the COVID-19 crisis:

Starting Monday, May 10th, 2021, we will be offering clients the option of coming back into the hospital for appointments with a few stipulations. Please see below. Curbside will still be available to those that do not want to enter the hospital. Please call with any questions. Thank you.

Meet Luna! She is a sweet Husky looking for her forever home. She is approximately one year old and 50 lbs. She is wonderful with people and kids and does well socially with other dogs, but would do best as the only pet or with large dogs only as she has shown aggression towards smaller dogs in her current home. She walks wonderfully on a leash and rides great in the car. She loves being active and going for hikes and long walks. She loves playing with toys, is house trained, spayed, up to date on her shots and microchipped. She has started crate training, which will need to be continued. This beautiful Husky would love nothing more than to have a family that will shower her with love and affection. She is a wonderful dog. Please call us if you are interested in adopting her!
