We don’t have all the answers to relieving stress, but here’s a few things we’ve learned along the way:
1. GET OFF YOUR PHONE! 🤳🏼A healthy amount of scrolling is definitely a decent past time, but PLEASE get out and touch some grass if you find yourself attached to your phone 24/7. There’s a whole world out there just waiting for you to explore it!!
2. GET OUT OF YOUR OWN WAY. 🚶🏻♀️Sometimes we’re the ones stopping ourselves from getting to where we want to be in life. Stop making excuses, stop feeling sorry for yourself and start taking action. The moment you choose yourself is the moment your whole life starts to change.
3. REMOVE TOXICITY FROM YOUR LIFE. ✌️If it’s not fulfilling you or filling your bank account, it’s not worth it. Everything comes with a cost in life. Choose your battles wisely,don’t take disrespect and don’t put out more than you’re receiving. Boundaries are everything!
4. START CARING FOR YOUR BODY AND MIND. 🧘🏽♀️By no means is it easy to completely transform your life, but every day is a chance for you to make a different choice for yourself. Being unhealthy is hard and being healthy is hard. Choose your hard. It’s really as simple as that.
5. PRIORITIZE YOU! 🫵🏼So many of us complain about being stressed, but then willingly place ourselves in situations that make us even more stressed. A healthy amount of stress is normal, but learn to say NO when necessary. You should never feel bad about putting yourself first in any situation. Remember everyone, you can’t pour from an empty cup!!!
