Good morning! We want those with appointments on Saturday to be aware of possible traffic issues. The Phoenix Marathon will be Saturday, and there may be road closures that affect your route to the clinic. Please visit the site below to see if you may be affected!

We are excited to share that Alma, a dedicated veterinary student who has been with us for the past five years, is now entering the final phase of her veterinary education through an internship with us!

On Saturdays, she will be working closely with our team as part of her clinical training, performing exams and obtaining patient history, all under the expert supervision of Dr. Bracken.

As always, our priority is to provide the best care for your pets.

If you have any questions or would prefer her not to take part in your pet’s treatment, please feel free to reach out anytime.

As everyone starts traveling for the holidays, we want to remind you to ensure your pet’s microchip information is up to date. If you’re unsure about the microchip number, let us know and we can help you get it! If you ‘re traveling to Mexico or Canada, your pet will need a microchip and form from the CDC to come back home! Let us know if you have any questions!

CDC has changed the import requirements.. again! As of yesterday, if traveling from a low/no Rabies risk country (includes Mexico & Canada), then all that will be needed is a form completed by the owner! It is still being suggested to have a copy of the pet's rabies certificate and have an ISO compliant microchip implanted. (If your pet received a microchip from us, then it is ISO compliant.)

We want all our friends to know there have been new requirements for international travel. While taking your pet to Mexico and Canada is the same, there is now paperwork that will need to be completed to return. It is recommended to start the process for this paperwork at least 30 days in advance, as the forms need to be endorsed through the USDA. Please call the office as soon as you know of any travel plans!

Dr. Bracken will be out of the office starting Thursday, June 30th, and returning Tuesday, July 5th. During this time, we will be closing at 5pm Thursday & Friday, closed Saturday, as well as Monday the 4th. Please keep this in mind as you are planning for your pet's food and medications, and let us know if there is anything we can help you with!
