It’s National Caregivers Month!

To kick off this special celebration, our residents created heartfelt thank-you cards to show their appreciation for all of our dedicated caregivers. We’re excited to see what the rest of the month has in store as we continue to honor and celebrate the incredible individuals who provide compassionate care every day.

Pumpkin Decorating Contest Winners!

A huge thank-you to everyone who participated in our pumpkin decorating contest and to everyone who voted! The creativity this year was amazing!

Annual Pumpkin Contest!

Our team went all out this year creating some amazing pumpkins for our Annual Pumpkin Contest! A huge shoutout to all our talented staff for their creativity and hard work! These pumpkins are truly works of art!

Voting was open to all of our tricks and treaters from Sunday’s event. Voting officially closes today, 10/30, so get those last-minute votes in!

We can’t wait to see which pumpkins take the top spots!

Step by Step, We’re on the Move!

At Hawthorn Court, we love staying active and enjoying the beautiful Arizona fall weather! Our residents walk twice a day around our lovely community, soaking in the sunshine and fresh air.

Every Wednesday, we make it extra special with a picnic in the park. Complete with a peaceful stroll along the walking path, great company, and plenty of laughter.

Happy National Cat Day!

At Hawthorn Court, our residents have big hearts for animals. From the tiniest kittens to the most majestic pets! Whether it’s the joy of a visiting therapy animal or stories shared about beloved pets from years past, animals always bring smiles and comfort to our community.

Today, we’re celebrating National Cat Day by sharing some adorable photos of the “Cats of Hawthorn”, our team members’ furry friends who bring so much love and laughter into their homes.

Fun With Foods: Mini Pumpkin Creations!

Our Fun with Foods activity was a blast! Each of our mini pumpkins turned out so unique. We loved seeing everyone’s creativity shine through. From silly faces to spooky sticker designs, every pumpkin had its own personality!
We love giving our residents and visitors opportunities to get creative and have fun together.

🎃 Thank You for a Spooktacular Day!

A huge thank you to all the Ahwatukee families who joined us for our 4th Annual Tricks and Treats Event!

Our residents absolutely loved seeing everyone’s creative costumes, handing out candy (sneaking a few pieces for themselves 🍬), and sharing so many smiles and laughs with you all.

We’d also like to give a special shoutout to our amazing Hawthorn Court Directors for coming out to help, to Danielle, our Life Enrichment Director, for organizing such a wonderful event, and to Anya, our Life Enrichment Assistant, for making sure everything was ready today and for creating all of the fun, crafty decorations with our residents!

Today was such a success, and it wouldn’t have been possible without all of you, our dedicated team, residents, and families.

We’re already counting down the days until next year’s celebration!

Bingo Fridays at Hawthorn Court!

Friday mornings are one of our favorite times of the week here at Hawthorn Court! Our residents love gathering together for a few rounds of Bingo before lunch! It’s all smiles, laughter, and a little friendly competition.

Whether it’s the thrill of calling out “BINGO!” or the joy of spending time with friends, this weekly tradition always brings warmth and fun to our community.

Sweet Memories with Chef Hunter!

What a deliciously fun time we had creating Spiced Pumpkin Cookies with our very own Chef Hunter! The kitchen was filled with the cozy scents of fall spices, laughter, and lots of heart.

Our residents absolutely loved the cookies! Especially topped with Chef Hunter's signature Multigenerational Cream Cheese Frosting, a recipe passed down with love and perfected together.

There’s nothing quite like baking to bring people together, and this day was a perfect reminder that the sweetest moments are made in good company (and with plenty of frosting).
