Our journey and success with IVF

The last year and a half has been a roller coaster for us. We have had many ups, downs and many tears. I was told a year and a half ago that my tubes were block and would no longer be able to have a baby on my own. I was devastated when I got this news. My only option was to do IVF if we wanted another child. Which as everyone knows is not a cheap thing to do. So Shane and I thought this over and we decided to sell our boat that we loved and enjoy but at this time in our life adding to our family was much more important. So when we put our boat up for sale we had a buyer within the first week. We couldn't have been more blessed to know we were able to afford to start the IFV process. During my first IVF cycle everything was going good until they went in to retrieve my eggs. When they went in I had lost all 19 of my eggs. I was devastated to say the least. I was so fortunate to have a doctor to work with me and help me afford and to start another IVF cycle. He did many trials before having me start another IVF cycle. I had many ultrasound to try and pin point when I would ovulate. Dr Moffit never gave up on me, always stayed positive and always gave me hope. My second IVF cycle Dr Moffit watch everything so closely and we were so nervous going into my second egg retrieval. After my egg retrieval procedure the doctor came in and said he got all 10 eggs!!! I was beside myself. We were still not out of the woods yet. When I went in to have my egg put back it had to attach to start my pregnancy. We patiently waiting 9 days for the results. When I got the call from Dr Moffit he was as excited and happy as we were to tell us the amazing news!! Our egg had attached and we were officially pregnant!! To think from when we first started to where I am today is such an amazing blessing. I am proud to announce that I now have an almost 8 month old little girl!! I can not thank Dr Moffit and his staff enough for what amazing job they did to make my dreams come true and they never gave up on me!!!
