On March 1, Jewish Family & Children's Service welcomed community members to another Living Room Conversation in our Salon Series for a thought provoking discussion titled The Reality Gap, facilitated by housing specialist and human services advocate Nichole Stevens. Together, participants explored the complex realities of poverty and the trauma, systemic barriers, and life circumstances that can quickly destabilize individuals and families. The conversation offered powerful insights into the challenges many people face when navigating support systems and why compassionate, accessible services are so critical.
