🚨Psychic Fluff Update: Embodiment Is Not The Missing Link
The trending idea that body-focused work (somatic embodiment, intuitive sensing, nervous system regulation) is the ultimate missing link, or the magic ingredient, in psychic development has become very prevalent in recent years.
Now, let me be clear: body-focused work is indeed relevant and it does matter in the bigger picture. I even wrote about it myself in The Sensible Psychic , and I teach it in the Unlock Your Psychic Potential™ training program.
But what most psychic seekers often do not know, and what very few psychic gurus ever talk about, is that somatic embodiment, intuitive sensing, and nervous system regulation are most definitely not the full story of authentic psychic perception.
Not even close.
Body-focused work represents only one dimension of a sophisticated mental-metaphysical process. Genuine psychic perception runs much deeper, expands much wider, and reaches much higher than what the body-based awareness model alone represents.
What this work describes is just one stage or layer in a process that includes several distinct neurological layers and perceptual awareness components, each playing a specific role in how unconscious akashic field information, or “energy data,” becomes conscious psychic impressions.
So, while the embodied, sensed, felt, somatic dimension is real and important as a foundation to psychic work, it is just part of the story. In fact, in some ways it merely scratches the surface and it is certainly not a complete substitute or alternative for psychic perception. It is just one component within a much larger process.
Another problem this trend has created is that much of what is being presented as "psychic development" these days is actually mostly just self-healing and inner guidance work. Somatic embodiment, nervous system regulation, trauma processing, emotional awareness, interoception, and personal healing are all valuable in preparation for psychic development.
But preparation is not the same as perception.
Healing your emotional wounds, learning to regulate your nervous system, or becoming more aware of your gut feelings and hunches, does not automatically make you a proficient psychic perceiver, channeler, reader. Truth is, there are many mentally, emotionally and physically very healthy and well-adjusted people in the world who have no significant level of psychic awareness.
Many psychic and mediumship students therefore spend years working only on their psychological wounds, their emotions, and their nervous system, while still never being properly taught how psychic perception actually works on a transpersonal, universal level, and how to master their own perception process for the greater good.
So, if you have been doing all the “right things” and still feel as if something is missing or not adding up in your psychic development efforts, you are probably not imagining it: You have not been working with the complete map.
