Clinical director, Michael J. Rayes, added his name to the international list of bishops, doctors, and professionals in their "Appeal for the Church and the world" (Veritas liberabit vos).
The "Appeal" is an assertion of rights summarized in the following: "...under the pretext of the Covid-19 epidemic, the inalienable rights of citizens have in many cases been violated and their fundamental freedoms, including the exercise of freedom of worship, expression and movement, have been disproportionately and unjustifiably restricted. Public health must not, and cannot, become an alibi for infringing on the rights of millions of people around the world ..."
As director of Intercessory Counseling & Wellness, PLLC, Rayes signed the Appeal to emphasize and encourage the growing body of sound science on Covid-19 and to advocate for the agency's clients, as well as the rights of all vulnerable persons worldwide.

Small but growing Christian-based psychotherapy private practice seeks another independently licensed counselor to join the practice! We are located in north central Phoenix (the metrocenter mall area). Our populations include children, adolescents, couples, and individual adults.
Must sign and adhere to a general Christian-based faith statement and a basic morals statement.
Independently licensed (LPC, LMFT, LCSW). Must carry your own professional liability insurance and a current DPS fingerprint clearance card. If you don’t already have liability insurance, we can point you in the right direction to obtain your own policy.
Compensation: $40 per billed clinical hour, $50 per billed group-therapy hour
Progress notes / documentation must be completed within 24 hours of service using our secure therapy software program.
What we provide: We will work toward credentialing you with major commercial insurance plans in Arizona. We will handle all billing and interactions with insurance companies. We will work toward filling your caseload as much as you would like (5 billable hours minimum each week). You will be able to staff cases with the clinical director as needed.
Set your own schedule, work as often as you like, using our shared office space with no rent charged to you at all. Provide your own modalities of therapy that do not conflict with basic Christian principles. Seeking a professional who uses positive psychology and strength-based treatment.
Essentially, all you need to do is show up and see clients. We do the rest!
This is a 1099-contracted position, part-time, non-employee with no benefits available.

Office expansion...
We have moved!
Due to rapid growth and the need to add programs, we have moved to a new suite in the same building. We are located in suite D111, which has its own entrance, a group therapy room, a counseling room, and an administrative area.
We are downstairs and can accommodate wheelchair access. We already tested this with a wheelchair :)
Intercessory Counseling & Wellness, PLLC, accepts most private insurance plans. We are also actively working toward accepting Medicaid / AHCCCS plans.

We are happy to offer clinical supervision services for licensed Master's level counselors with an LAC, LASAC, LMSW, or LAMFT, working toward an LPC, LISAC, LCSW, or LMFT. Our rates are super affordable and we make it easy for agencies to increase their employee retention!
