🔍Transparency shouldn’t be controversial.

“It requires transparency for Arizona plans, reported to Arizona regulators. Transparency is not duplication. It is accountability.”

SB1628 passed out of the House Health and Human Services Committee yesterday, moving Arizona closer to consistent, usable reporting on claims and prior-authorization denials.

Grateful to see momentum on an issue that directly impacts providers and patients across the state.

At the San Carlos Apache Healthcare Corporation, nearly 300 children and teens on the San Carlos Apache Reservation received free dental screenings, fluoride treatments and hands-on lessons about brushing and flossing during the community’s annual Children’s Dental Open House. 🦷🪥

Now in its eighth year, this event reflects the ongoing commitment Arizona hospitals and healthcare providers have to caring for every patient and strengthening the communities they serve.
