What does “Medicare Advantage” really mean for Arizona seniors?

Arizona is taking a major step to strengthen healthcare access in rural communities.

Governor Katie Hobbs has submitted the state’s application for the Rural Health Transformation Program, which could bring at least $100 million annually to expand workforce, telehealth, behavioral health and maternal care.

📈 Mental health cases processed through the courts have jumped 169% in the last decade, and Valleywise Health is the only hospital in Maricopa County performing court-ordered evaluations.

Prop 409 will build a new 200-bed behavioral health hospital, doubling inpatient capacity and expanding space for evaluations and treatment, helping cases move faster and improving public safety.

Meet Deena Hadley, a true fighter and an inspiration to us all. 💪

Just months after a dream trip to Rome and New York, Deena’s life changed when she became paralyzed from the chest down.

Deena faced surgeries, setbacks and long recoveries. But with determination, her husband’s support and the incredible team at Encompass Health, she’s regained independence and hope.

From re-learning daily tasks to standing and taking steps again, Deena’s journey shows the power of resilience and compassionate care. She calls her Encompass team her “superstars,” and we couldn’t agree more.
