One of our favorite days at work every year!

A big thank you to Daisy Mountain Fire & Medical for rolling up with a truck full of toys and a whole lot of holiday cheer for kids at Valleywise Health. 🎁

These moments mean so much to our pediatric patients and families, and they’re a great reminder of how special our community partners truly are.

We’re so grateful for your generosity and for helping make the holidays a little brighter. ✨

The holidays can be especially hard for teens in inpatient care. A simple gift can remind them they’re seen, valued, and not alone. 💙

A huge thank you to Kitchell for choosing Valleywise Health Foundation as the beneficiary of this year’s Build Fore Good Golf Tournament. ⛳💙 Their incredible $100,000 gift will strengthen Integrated Behavioral Health programs that support children, teens, and young adults across our community.

Two Valleywise Health Psychiatry Residents, Daniel Takla, MD and Mason Webb, MD, joined us on the course to share more about the importance of mental health and how Valleywise Health supports our community through behavioral health programs. We’re grateful to our partners who believe in expanding access to compassionate, whole-person care.

🌍 International Volunteer Day 🌍

Today is International Volunteer Day, and the perfect time to recognize three incredible high school seniors - Irene, Ava and Bella - the founders of Ties of Love.

They handmake tie blankets in their spare time, funding the materials themselves while balancing school and part-time jobs. Each girl brings a personal story to this mission, from Irene’s experience as a premature baby in the NICU to Ava and Bella’s shared passion for giving comfort and hope to those facing difficult moments.

Last week, they donated a beautiful collection of blankets to Valleywise Health Medical Center, helping our patients feel warm, supported and cared for. 💙

Thank you, Ties of Love, for making a meaningful impact, one blanket at a time.

Our Giving in Action 👷‍♀️🚧🏗️

Four incredible groups joined us for a once-in-a-lifetime Excavator Experience after winning this opportunity at the live auction at A Night in the Valley. Their generosity directly supports the mission of Valleywise Health Foundation.

Thank you to our partners at Kitchell, BCS Enterprises, Inc., and the skilled crew who gave participants a hands-on look at the world’s largest demolition excavator, the Cat 5130B UHD. This demolition giant weighs more than 400 tons, can lift a 25-ton shear 150 feet in the air, and is currently part of the demolition project to create space for facility upgrades on the Valleywise Health campus. 🚜💪

Our auction winners stepped inside the “belly of the beast” and saw firsthand how this machine powers major construction. It was an unforgettable experience.

Huge thanks to our participating groups:
-PENTA Building Group: Marisa Palomo
-Jacobsen Construction: Deann Gates
-Timothy and Amy Louis
-Cunningham Law Group
-Dr. Kevin Foster

We are grateful for your support and enthusiasm in helping families across our community. 💙
