Has AHCCCS or DDD reached out to you lately to update your information? Here’s what’s going on: During the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency, AHCCCS didn’t disenroll any members. This included people who may not have been eligible during normal times. The goal was to ensure people had healthcare during the emergency. BUT … the federal government ended the Public Health Emergency in May 2023. This means some people who qualified for AHCCCS during the COVID emergency, no longer do. AHCCCS may need to talk to you about your information. This will help them know whether you are still eligible for AHCCCS. So, what do you need to do?
