Really enjoyed doing a podcast discussing Overactive Bladder and Urinary Incontinence. An important topic to discuss with your doctor if you have any urinary urgency, frequency, getting up at night, or leakage of urine.

Like many of you, I have been reading about and have seen the inhumane murder of George Floyd last week. With this latest injustice, my emotions have ranged from anger to sadness. I still do not feel I have found the right words to express how I feel but here it goes.

To those hurting, especially those in communities that have been marginalized, I stand in solidarity with you and support your right to be seen and heard. I won’t pretend to fully understand what you are going through, including the discrimination and injustice you may face daily. On one hand, silence and inaction can equal consent, so I commit to speak up to fight against institutional racism, discrimination including discrimination in our healthcare system, and violence that has plagued our county for so long. I also understand the importance of listening and learning from people who have lived and are living through these injustices and I commit to continue to listen and learn how I can continue to change for the better to provide the best care for all of our patients.

Please know we are following all recommendations from the CDC and local health officials to care for our patients. Rest assured, our office already follows universal disease prevention control.
