One person who is creating peace and maintaining it can change the whole country, the same way one person who wants war can take a country to war. It’s harder to take the country to peace because the negativity on the planet wants war. So, when you do one day of peace, it’s not enough. If one person does war for one day, you have to do twenty-five days of peace to neutralize that, because the negativity has more power with it.

Peaceful people aren’t necessarily submissive people. You can be peaceful and walk up to people that are shooting guns; they may shoot four thousand people, and then somebody there says, "I can’t shoot another one of these people,’” and throws his gun down and stands in line with the peace people. And pretty soon, people get so sick and tired of killing non-violent people, they stop. At that moment, they transform the planet.

We would be much further ahead in this world if we worked more to make our own beliefs valuable to ourselves rather than trying to change other people's beliefs. And we would be even further ahead if we found the uniqueness of our thoughts, experiences and personalities and capitalized on them.

What is the most important thing? Simple. Breathing in and breathing out. In time you will take enough breaths to realize that this planet is offered as a learning experience, not as a punishment. To learn what? That each breath you take is a divine gift. Everything after that is commentary.

You need love because it is part of your nature to be fulfilled through love. You can never be fulfilled only through physical love because physical love often brings sorrow. Emotional love often brings upset. Mental love often brings prejudice. But spiritual love brings the consciousness of God and the realization that all things are functioning in accordance with the one law, which is God.

People carry excess baggage they don't need. Instead of adding to yourself to find out what's going on, I tell people to drop what they don't need in order to find out who they really are. When you drop what you don't need, you'll find yourself free in what you have because what you don't need is taken away and what's left is obviously useful to you.
