I’ve been blowing my mind and body with another book. (Yup, it never ends.) Deep Fitness by Philip Shepherd and Andrei Yakovenko has the subtitle, “The Mindful, Science-Based Strength-Training Method to Transform Your Well-Being in Just 30 Minutes a Week“ (2021). They call their practice MSTF – Mindful Strength Training to Failure. They have combined mindfulness with intense, slow muscle exercises. What were you born knowing, that is not the usual cultural story? For me, I think I was born knowing that all is well. Underneath all the chaos, struggle, and strife, the bigger truth is that all is well. Or it's my truth, anyhow. What’s yours? Why do I think all is well? Because we are eternal spirits visiting this beautiful vacation planet for a little while. (We forget how very precious this particular planet really IS!)
