Unify Health

Unify Health Where strength training meets recovery and longevity. I treat and train bodies to perform at their prime. Nagging injuries that have never resolved.

Unify offers individualized coaching, small-group personal training, and recovery services in a controlled, intentional environment designed to support movement, performance, and long-term health. My background as a Licensed Athletic Trainer, Massage Therapist, Strength and Conditioning Coach, and Pilates. I specialize in:

Soft-tissue sessions that combine traditional massage therapy principles with my advanced training in rehabilitation

Personal Training sessions that pull my higher education in human movement and sports medicine, into traditional training sessions. Bridging the gap for new 'graduates' of Physical Therapy needing 1-on-1 attention and a methodical progression and emphasis on manual therapy. Private Pilates sessions. Small-group TRX Suspension Training Classes

How can I help you?

• Athlete looking to gain a performance edge and recover more efficiently.

• Previous injuries that prevents you from activity or sport

• Sport/Therapeutic Massage Sessions

• Personal Training

• Needing treatment and low-intensity sessions prior to starting a full exercise program or group exercise class. Methodical jumpstart to your activity level. Movement Is Medicine — But It Doesn’t Take 10,000 Steps to Prove It

We’ve all been told to hit 10,000 steps a day, but new data shows you can see massive benefits long before that number.

📊 A 2025 Lancet Public Health meta-analysis (57 studies, 24 cohorts) found that increasing from 2,000 → 7,000 steps/day delivered:
• 47% ↓ all-cause mortality
• 25% ↓ cardiovascular disease
• 38% ↓ dementia
• 22% ↓ depressive symptoms
• 14% ↓ type 2 diabetes

The takeaway → 7,000 steps per day is a strong floor for longevity, delivering clinically meaningful improvements in health outcomes. Beyond 7k, returns flatten — but every extra 1k still moves the needle.

If you’re already active, aim higher.
If you’re rebuilding consistency, start small — and walk like your life depends on it (because it kind of does).

At UNIFY, we teach clients that movement is medicine — strength training, recovery, and daily activity are all part of the same system.

7,000 steps a day won’t just extend your life — it’ll improve the quality of it.

💪 Get moving

Repost from

High VO₂ Max ≠ Metabolically Healthy

You can be strong and still metabolically broken. If your tissue cannot support aerobic function your nervous system becomes sympathetically dominant.

When blood pressure stays elevated, HRV remains low and you are running on stress hormones instead of efficient energy systems - AND you are ignoring these signs - what do you think will happen long term?
