🚨 Throwback to August when Circle the City was featured in The New York Times! 🚨

This article highlighted our mission to provide compassionate healthcare to individuals experiencing homelessness in Maricopa County, especially during the extreme summer heat.

💜 We are deeply grateful to journalist Maggie Astor and photographer Cassidy Araiza, who spent three days alongside our medical team in July, walking through 110+ degree heat to witness and document the realities our patients face every day. 💜

Karl Monical’s life changed faster than he ever imagined. After losing his job, he found himself living in his car and began facing serious health issues that required surgery.

Through Circle the City, Karl can receive the medical care and space he needs to heal.

His story is a powerful reminder that homelessness can happen to anyone and how quickly stability can slip away. Even in the hardest moments, hope and compassionate care can make all the difference. 💜

💜 Earlier this month, one of our street medicine teams did what they always do: show up for our patients with care and connection. This time, armed with hot chocolate and warm smiles, they made sure that every patient they met felt seen, supported, and a little more comfortable in the cold. 💜

After five years of homelessness and serious health challenges, Rodney was hesitant to seek care. That changed when a Circle the City team member took the time to sit with him and listen. Today, he’s receiving the care he deserves at our Medical Respite Center and is on a path toward stability.
