That’s a wrap!! Ending our 2 day medical mission volunteering with my favorite organization, Naturopaths Without Borders, feeling exhausted yet so fulfilled. Students, doctors and volunteers, from across the country, take time out of their busy schedules to give back to the community of Puerto Penasco, Mexico. These trips always leave me so inspired and confident I am doing exactly what I was put on this earth to do. 🥰 Thank you to everyone who made this weekend happen, especially to Dr Sean Hesler!!! Bummed I couldn’t snag more pics of the clinic, but that meant I was too busy treating patients so I’m not mad 😉 🙏

Sundays are for self-care. Self-care is not selfish. Maybe this is a time to see working from home not as a hassle, but as an opportunity for taking care of ourselves. And through that, building a stronger foundation for ourselves, our families, and our communities.

Put it on your schedule!

In addition to scheduling meetings and work time, schedule in time for other essential activities. For example:

Schedule time to get up and stretch every hour.
Schedule time for a 15-minute walk once or twice a day.
Schedule time to eat lunch or prep for dinner.
These small activities can help refresh you mentally and physically.

Working from home may feel more stressful than working in the office. It makes sense. You’re probably trying to juggle multiple responsibilities and face multiple disruptions. Those experiences can add stress to your mind and body.

Try to start your day with a calming mental or physical exercise. Giving yourself 15 minutes at the start of the day can help keep you focused and centered.
