At Phoenix Children’s, we see every day how small acts of kindness can change someone’s world — a comforting word, a moment of connection, a helping hand. Dr. King reminded us that “faith is taking the next step even when you can’t see the whole staircase,” and our teams live that spirit through their unwavering commitment to children and families.

Here’s to honoring Dr. King’s legacy — and to continuing to lift each other up and shine on.

📸 This photo takes us back to 2003, when Dr. Roberta Adams cared for Ashley Robinson — Phoenix Children’s very first bone marrow transplant patient. 🥰 Today, our program has touched the lives of 700+ children and families, thanks to Dr. Adams' leadership and the dedication of our incredible care team.

We’re celebrating this milestone and the hope, healing and futures made possible every day at Phoenix Children’s.

Our Story

Phoenix Children’s is the only children's hospital in Arizona recognized by U.S. News & World Report’s Best Children’s Hospitals. This year, we ranked in all 10 categories, including Cancer, Cardiology and Heart Surgery, Diabetes and Endocrinology, Gastroenterology and GI Surgery, Neonatology, Nephrology, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Pulmonology and Urology. We’re one of only 24 children’s hospitals in the United States to make the list in all 10 specialties for 2019-20.

Phoenix Children's provides world-class inpatient, outpatient, trauma, emergency and urgent care to children and families in Arizona and throughout the Southwest. As one of the largest children’s hospitals in the country, we provide care across more than 75 pediatric specialties. Every day our clinical, professional and support staff work collaboratively to deliver on our mission to provide hope, healing and the best health care for children and their families. They embrace the challenges of providing compassionate, high-quality, family-centered care to the most complex patients in the region.
