💛 Hi! I’m the owner of Blossom & Bloom Music Therapy, offering in-home music therapy for preschool through elementary-age children with Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and other developmental disabilities.

💛 Music Therapy is a clinical, evidence-based therapy, comparable to Speech and Occupational Therapy. Unlike music lessons—which focus on learning musical skills—music therapy uses music as the therapeutic tool to support individualized developmental goals.

💛 Sessions include fun, engaging music experiences such as singing, movement, and instrument play to support your child’s development in:
• Speech & language skills
• Social interaction & emotional regulation
• Attention, focus & engagement
• Motor coordination & sensory processing

LOVE THIS! As a music therapist who works with young children, I see first-hand how the arts, in particular making and moving to music through singing and dancing, facilitates the development of communication, sensory-motor coordination, and social-emotional expression. MUSIC IS SO POWERFUL! ❤🎼

Coldplay is one of my favorite bands and after seeing this video, I LOVE them even more! What they did for this young boy with Autism is AMAZING!! As a music therapist who works with kiddos like him, this seriously brought tears of joy to my eyes! Please watch…I promise you WILL be inspired!

Here is a video of a duet between myself and a client with Autism that I provide weekly music therapy to singing and playing the “Goodbye Song.” I’ve been working with him for 7 years and he has come SO far in learning to play the piano. I’m SO proud of him and his accomplishments!!!
