Due to inclement weather, our office, and NYC Public Schools will be closed tomorrow.

Please transition all in-person sessions to virtual/remote learning when appropriate. If virtual services are not appropriate, kindly reschedule sessions for later in the week.

Virtual BIP/IEP meetings should continue as scheduled. Please confirm all meetings.

Per , we are currently anticipating severe weather conditions on Monday, January 26, 2026.
 
ALERT: all students in grades 6-8 at K-8 or middle schools are expected to participate in remote learning ONLY in the event of a potential school closure.
 
REMINDERS: 
 
Monday, January 26 is a Professional Development Day for high schools and schools that serve only grades 6-12.
 
Students in these grades are NOT scheduled to attend school.
 
In the event of a potential school closure, school will NOT be in session remotely for those students.
 
Please reach out to your school for updates on afterschool programming that may be impacted by inclement weather.

We are working in close communication with the Department of Transportation () and NYC Emergency Management () throughout the weekend.
