A lot of people ask me:

How do you know what a particular flower is for?

The best way I know is to ask the Earth & the plant directly ~ with a clear, settled mind & open observation.

After asking permission & making offerings to the land & the plant, I make a pure request:

"Please tell me what this plant is for & how it can benefit the people that I will reach in this lifetime.

What words/language do I use to share with the people I reach?

What does it magnify?

What does it dissolve?

How will it impact lives?"

For me, this is the most direct method for making plant remedies, and has been used by herbalists & medicine makers for thousands of years.

In the beginning, I had a lot of doubt .. Am I making this up? Am I crazy? Am I projecting?

For a long time, I would share each flower elixir with a small group of people before ever releasing it to the public, to study the effects & make sure that the information I was receiving was what the elixir was actually catalyzing in the lives of those who took it.

After decades of making 300+ flower essences, I have learned to trust this process.

People sometimes ask if flower essences are addictive or if you can develop a dependency on them.

It's like exercising or drinking water or cutting out seed oils from your diet. The more you can do it, the better, but it's not something that's addictive. You could say it's addictive in some sense to feel good ~ but not in the technical sense of 'addiction'.

Over time, as you take flower essences, they will continue to elicit unique things from your psyche and help you continue to grow & evolve. Rather than having any sort of addictive quality, they serve as inspiration for inner transformation.

On our wild adventure of collecting orchid flower essences in Nepal, we were all working with the Fairy Duster elixir by adding it into every single beverage throughout the day.

Because we had all literally just met each other, taking this elixir accelerated the ability to put 4 strangers in one jungle & be able to get an epic task done.

Within each of us, it magnified ::

Laser focus
Alignment of purpose
Steady intent
Collective, expansive thinking
In-tune teamwork, without even trying
Ability to observe & anticipate needs

It helped turn on all of our subtle-energy sensors ~ to read the language of the heart & transmit it with more efficiency.

We also saw it blooming everywhere ~ along the roads & on monastery grounds. Auspicious timing to see it in bloom while we were also working with it internally. The guys loved seeing the flower that was on the bottle in-real-life. It also helped us translate what the work we were doing together would eventually be turned into. 💗

3 of our favorite things we had with us on our orchid hunting trek in Nepal ::

1. Bells for our backpacks.

Our teacher recommended we go buy bells in town for hanging on our backpacks during our trek through the jungle as a way to alert any spirits or animals that we were entering their territory ~ and that we come in peace with pure intentions to benefit humanity. 

Throughout the hike, our 4 bells rang constantly & harmonized everything. Our minds naturally rested on the sound offering & the entire ~10 miles of vertical hiking became a walking meditation.

2. A flower elixir to infuse all of our beverages to energetically get everyone synced together.

We all were taking the current Flowerevolution elixir of the month: Fairy Duster ~ to amplify focus, calm & stability.

Not only was it a way to introduce Lama Nyima & Mahendra to our work, and what the final product of what were were collecting together would look like ... it syncronized everything to flow like water.

When everyone is operating on a similar wavelength, everything falls into place.

3. Incense sticks for making offerings.

There were multiple places along the way that we used incense sticks to make offerings:

~ Before jumping on the trail each day while making wishes for a safe journey

~ When someone fell or hurt themselves

~ When there was a fresh spring or waterfall, where nagas or water protectors might be

~ When things felt a little eerie

~ When we came across a temple

~ When our hearts felt like making an offering to the place.

You can break the sticks & let yourself be free to do it as much as you want. And don't forget to travel with a good lighter or matches!

In dryer climates, you can instead offer sprinkles of water.

Making offerings in the wild is meaningful & totally makes a difference in your experience.

Having been in Kathmandu for a week now, I’m wildly in love.

More accurately I’m swarmed with love in Nepal. It’s everywhere.

It rides on waves and transmits through electric sparks of sheer presence and authenticity.

The hearts of Nepali people are disarmingly wide-open, genuine and affectionate.

Everyone we meet instantly feels like family.

The bond is so fierce that it crosses cultures, language barriers and withstands decades of time and space.

Very soon, Taylor and I will find ourselves in the jungles of Nepal, with an orchid expert or two, on the hunt for special flowers.

I can already foresee the qualities these Nepali flowers will elicit from all of us – and the impact they will have.

My prediction is that it will be a reflection of our experience of living here …

A way of being that is wildly open-hearted and freeing.

Grasping attachment dissolves.

Protective layers around the heart vanish.
