Heat Program Empowering the Future: Health Equity for Teens & Young Adults
We believe all young people deserve the

HEAT is dedicated to providing HIV+ and at-risk youth aged 13 - 29 access to clinical research, medical and mental health care, and supportive services. Our community-based approach eliminates barriers when trying to access health care, so no young person is left behind. Our full-service clinic embraces a philosophy of “one-stop shopping,” where all HIV care is provided by an interdisciplinary team, eliminating the barriers that youth often face when trying to access health care. HEAT’s adolescent-focused model puts the young person in the center of their care and involves the client in all decisions about their treatment. HEAT’s mission is to provide a unique health and mental health program that focuses on the special needs of young people who are at risk or living with HIV/AIDS and to remove the barriers that often prevent youth from accessing health care.

🌟 Gratitude. Pride. Community. 🌟

We are deeply honored to share that the Stonewall Community Foundation has awarded the HEAT Program a $35,000 grant during their Revel 2025 – 35th Anniversary Celebration held on October 16, 2025, in New York City.

This incredible gift means so much more than funding—it’s a recognition of the young people we serve, the power of affirming healthcare, and the ongoing fight to ensure q***r and trans youth have safe, compassionate spaces to thrive.

From everyone at HEAT, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the Stonewall Foundation team, donors, and community partners who make this work possible. Your belief in our mission helps us continue to deliver life-saving, culturally competent care to Brooklyn’s LGBTQAI+ youth.

💖 Thank you for standing with us.
💪🏽 Together, we are building healthier, prouder, and more inclusive futures.
