One of the common mistakes I see in clients who come to me doing all the right things and not seeing results is (and this might surprise you but) their healthy diet is actually far too complicated and calorie dense.

A good example of this is a 900 calorie smoothie that’s got everything and the kitchen sink chucked at it šŸ˜‚

The body thrives on three things:

1. Quality
2. Simplicity
3. Repetition

Sometimes we can overload the system simply by trying too hard when really what we need is… less.

This is how I eat.

It’s not glamorous, but at 44 I feel the best I’ve ever felt even after doing this for ten years (and trying allllll the superfoods known to man šŸ™ˆ).
I’ll even often go much more simple than this list.

I teach my clients how to do less, not more, to see results.

It’s incredible what happens when we do. šŸ’«

I promise you… it’s not supposed to be hard. Your body isn’t working against you. But I know it can feel incredibly frustrating when you feel like you’re doing everything right and not seeing any results.

Here are some examples of these ā€œroadblocksā€ that I commonly see:

āœ–ļøMindset
āœ–ļø Hidden self-sabotage habits
āœ–ļø Poor gut health
āœ–ļø Blocked lymph or detox pathways
āœ–ļø Hormone imbalance

There are so many more I could list but the key takeaway is that it’s not supposed to be a struggle and if you feel like something is holding you back from getting the results you want you are usually right.

There’s always an answer.

And often, it’s a simple fix.

I see the things you can’t see. That’s my superpower ā˜ŗļø.

My other superpower (and greatest love) is giving you your a-ha moment so your body finally starts responding with results that make you feel incredible again.

Allow me to reintroduce myself šŸ‘‹.

Welcome to the season where we no longer settle.

For a while I’ve been wrestling with social media. Like you, probably, I’ve been deep in the trenches of my own evolution. 2025 really was a doozy, wasn’t it?

I’ve been with clients and on stages and in conversations that change people.

But although you may have ā€œseen meā€ around, I don’t really feel seen yet at all.

I’ve been quietly working out who I really am again.

And today (Fire Horse energy and all) felt like the right moment to step back into your inbox and reintroduce myself.

I’m Jess Wilson. Motivational Speaker & Coach.
I teach Health, Wellness & Resilience.

And what I’m really, really good at is empowering people to do the work that makes them no longer available for the life they’ve been tolerating.

Here’s what I’ve learned after years in this industry:

You know what to eat.
You know what habits you’re letting slide and you know what you need to do to feel better.

But there’s a part of yourself that keeps self-abandoning because low motivation is really masking as a level of low self-worth. And you haven’t yet found the unshakeable courage it takes to unapologetically raise the standards - for your body and your life. Somewhere, something keeps getting in the way.

This is identity work. šŸ’„

ā€œPeople don’t change because they’re told what to do.
They change when their self-worth rises high enough that staying the same is no longer an option.ā€

In every aspect of my work, this is what I’m focused on now.

Rewriting the thought patterns and behaviours you’ve been carrying, through practical coaching, to take you from repeating old cycles to living your highest and healthiest potential again.

Here’s what your cravings mean šŸ‘‡šŸ»

Your body is always communicating with you through symptoms, thoughts and cravings.

Ignoring the messenger system creates confusion so understanding them and honouring them is always the best strategy.

Craving: Red and Purple Foods
Often a sign your liver, gallbladder and lymph needs support
Eat: beetroot, plums, pomegranate

Craving: Chocolate and Nuts
Often a need for magnesium
Eat: quality dark chocolate and nuts

Craving: Salt
Often a sign of stress
Eat: add good quality salt to your water or food, electrolytes

Craving: Fats
Your hormones are shifting and/or calories are too low
Eat: butter, salmon, avocado, the fat on the meat!

Even though I’ve been looking after my body for years cravings still happen and I wanted to share mine today with you in case it helps.

Have you heard about expansion thinking?

It’s the moment you stop letting old belief systems run the show… and start choosing what you’re actually capable of.

1. Believe you can (you’ve done hard things before).

2. Get honest about the work (it’s rarely as big as the story in your mind).

3. Change your relationship with hard things (nothing is harder than staying stuck where you don’t want to be ✨)

Use these next time your mind tries to talk you out of your health goals.

Because it’s not always as ā€œhardā€ as we’ve made it out to be… and you’re far more capable than you think.

The magic you’re looking for is in the work you’re avoiding ✨

If you feel like you’re not getting the results you want:

1. Have you set and upheld the highest possible standards for what you want?

2. Where are you avoiding doing the work?

Don’t be harsh on yourself - but brave enough to be honest.

Growth rarely feels comfortable.

If you know there’s better for you… start small.

Hold your standards.

Become the person who does what she said she would.

This is where everything changes šŸ¤

First, we make it a habit. You know those things you already do without thinking - like grabbing your morning coffee or scrolling through your phone (guilty!🫣) - not perfect every day, but consistent enough to stick around.

Next, we make it a routine. Now you start to build a bit of structure. It’s more intentional, and a little less random. That morning blend becomes part of the flow, right alongside movement, hydration, and setting the tone for the day.

Then, it becomes your ritual. It’s not just about doing it anymore; it’s about loving the way it makes you feel - supported, balanced, and in sync with your body. It’s about waking up and actually wanting to keep doing it. That’s where the magic is ✨

has become such a part of my daily ritual. I’m especially loving the Hormone Harmony. It supports my energy levels and I love knowing that I’m creating balance on a cellular level too.
