This week we say a sad farewell to Sharon, as she is moving on to pastures new.

Sharon has worked with us for the last 19 years, as our Care Co Ordinator.

They're on their way!

Peter and Jim, brothers from Oswaldtwistle, along with family are now on their way to Vancouver Island to start the West Coast Trail. The team set off at 5am to Heathrow airport, where they will be taking an 8.5hrs flight to Calgery, with an 8hr wait to finally fly 2hrs to Vancourver.

Jim, who is 79 was diagnosed with cancer 4 years ago, and although he has now been given the all clear, it means a lot to him and his family that they raise as much as they can from this challenge for us and Rosemere Cancer Foundation

Good luck to James Woodhouse, who is approaching his 80th birthday in August and is heading out to Vancouver Island, to do for the second year running the West Coast Trail 🇨🇦 he is going with his Brother Peter Woodhouse with his foster Son Mackenzie and they are meeting Jame's Grandson Damian who lives in Canada. They are raising money for the East Lancs Hospice and Rosemere Cancer Unit in Preston. Wishing you all the best of luck 🚶🚶‍♂️🚶🚶‍♂️🇨🇦

It is with a very heavy heart that we have to announce, yesterday we lost one of our Carers Karon Singleton, who sadly passed away suddenly,
we are all devastated and saddened by this news 💔

Karon has worked with us for over 18 years and has always been such a bubbly, funny, genuine character, with a heart of gold 💖 loved by all,
this beautiful lady is going to be sadly missed x

Karon has not only been a colleague but a very dear friend to many of us and her Clients too who will miss her dearly 🥲

Our thoughts are with all of her Family and many friends at this sad time.

Today we have to say a sad farewell to one of our Carers, Lynne Ivens. She has been working for Broadfield for 17 years and has passed away suddenly after a short illness.

Lynne was one of the most compassionate, dedicated and loving Carers that ever worked for us. Her job to her, was not just a job, it was a calling and she will be greatly missed by both Staff and Clients.

Our thoughts are with her Daughter's, Grandchildren and all her Family and Friends today.
