Version 4.2 has been released with some new features to help while using Clooz. A Media File Explorer tool has been added that identifies files on your computer you have not yet linked to a Clooz record. This should be useful for those using Clooz to catalog or index photographs, newspaper articles, etc. A new Repeat button for Sources that cites the Source from the previous Information Record again in the current Information Record (use when adding multiple Information Records from the same source). When selecting Subjects to link to an Information Record, you can now have the list display only those Subjects linked to recent Information Records. A template for the Netherlands Bevolkingsregister has been added. See the complete list in the help page after updating to the new version.

A new update for Clooz (v4.1.1) has been released. It provides a new column (No. Links) for display on the main screen lists of Subjects, Information Records, Sources, and Repositories showing the number of linked records. This would be the number of Information Records a Subject is linked to, the number of Subjects an Information Record is linked to, the number of Information Records citing a Source record, and the number of Sources linked to a Repository. This should be useful in sorting or filtering records to identify those not linked yet. UK census templates for 1891 and 1901 have been corrected to now include the Language Spoken column.

Clooz version 4.1 was released November 15th, adding 12 new report types (in addition to the 6 added in October), as well as a number of other template enhancements and improvements.

A new update for Clooz 4 (prerelease) has been published. It includes the 1931 Canada census (forms A, B and NWT). Aside from any critical errors that still show up, this completes the development of Clooz 4 in preparation for an official release within the next few weeks. The focus will now shift to completing the documentation and an initial set of training videos.

Note that sales of Clooz 3 will cease upon the official release of version 4 and only version 4 will be sold from that point forward at the new price of $49.95. So, time is running out to get Clooz 4 at the Clooz 3 price if you don't already have a license to use the current release of Clooz 3.

A new Clooz 4 release has been published (through the update process in Clooz), which now contains the first two groups of reports (Information Records and Subjects). You can also output any of the main screen lists directly to an Excel file. There are a lot of features at your disposal, so please take a look at the Help Topics to learn how it all works. Report any issues you find to [email protected] so they can be quickly resolved.
