HOW TO FIX BUTT WINK (2 videos: How to fix butt wink, buttwink progression)
As per my previous posts, butt wink is DEFINITELY NOT the result of you having tight hamstrings. The most likely reason for you having a butt wink is because of poor motor control. What this means is that your muscles around the hip, knee and core are not activating in a coordinated fashion because of poor activation patterns. This is definitely very fixable with some easy exercises! Other reasons may include poor ankle mobility, incorrect squat set-up (see my post on 5 most common squatting mistakes), or inadequate core bracing. I will be addressing the motor control deficits in this post. Here are a couple of exercises you can do to improve your squatting motor control.

Healthy food is a way in which I like to treat my body. 💪🏻 I love my body and not in a narcissist way. I can say without hesitation it is my most prized possession!
Ever since my year 7 biology class Mrs Harvey ignited my obsession for more knowledge on the amazing intricacies of the human body and I'm still mesmerised!
It has lead to my healthy obsession on how I can make sure I #respect my #body while learning more about how to best maintain and improve its performance.
Early on in life I found that exercise, competition with myself and others through sport and play was the best way I could test my body and take it through its paces, testing its limits.
I still have the best fun this way and luckily it was a fun way in which I have kept a healthy strong body with the ability to still take on new extreme challenges 👊🏼
