BloomAgainBklyn

BloomAgainBklyn BloomAgainBklyn brings new life to flowers and joy to others by repurposing unsold flowers into arrangements that we deliver to those in need.

BloomAgainBklyn is a community-based, non-profit organization which takes unsold or once-used flowers destined for the trash, and refurbishes them into new arrangements which are distributed by volunteers to homebound seniors, local nursing home residents and others in need. The organization’s goal is to create an uplifting experience for those who may not regularly have visitors or receive flowers, and also facilitate positive interactions between volunteers and recipients. BloomAgainBklyn also fulfills an ecological purpose by extending the lifespan of flowers by using them in a more environmentally productive way before the flowers are discarded and composted. BloomAgainBklyn is a non-for-profit organization incorporated in the State of New York and classified as a public charity under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and eligible to receive tax deductible requests.

Tonight, as the lights dim for , we’re reminded that sustainability isn’t always about big, dramatic gestures. It’s about doing your part—however small—again and again.

That belief is at the heart of our flower upcycling workshops. Each week, our volunteers rescue “yesterday’s flowers” from the waste stream and transform them into more than 1,250 fresh arrangements for neighbors in need.

A simple cycle, proving that every rescued petal counts toward a greener planet. 🌿

BloomAgainBklyn partnered with an awesome group of TPG employees in a first time floral workshop to honor Women's History Month.

Not long ago, the city was wrapped in snow. Now the days are stretching a little longer, and you can feel the season quietly changing. 🌱🌷

There is something about this time of year that reminds us how quickly things can shift: cold giving way to color, stillness turning into growth.

What’s your Valentine’s Day flower pick? 🌹
Classic red roses? Or something a little unexpected?

Roses have long symbolized love, from passion and devotion to deep appreciation. But love is not only romantic. It can be quiet, generous, and shared in small, meaningful ways.

At BloomAgainBklyn, we see love in every bouquet that gets a second life, delivered to those who could use a moment of beauty.

This Valentine’s Day, we’re celebrating love that is shared and given back. Wishing you beauty in every form.❤️

They say it’s the coldest New York winter in two decades 🥶

It’s harsh outside, yet so warm in here, filled with flowers and familiar faces. On days like this, it means everything to see volunteers still showing up, hands busy, hearts open.

We’re sharing that warmth today with . These bouquets are heading to their programs across the city, supporting older adults and New Yorkers with developmental disabilities.

💐In the middle of a deep freeze, we’re sharing a little piece of spring.
