Does the phrase “set an intention” stress you out? A powerful intention often feels elusive, especially when we’re asked to crystallize our thoughts, emotions, and current life experiences into one single thesis ON THE SPOT 😱
👩💻🤳🏼📝Cue in The Death & Rebirth Journal Challenge📝 🤳🏼👩💻
Starting this Tuesday 4.6, we invite you to begin to prepare for our upcoming Urban Retreat. We encourage you to start spilling your hearts out onto a blank page (could be an actual journal, but also a word/pages/notes doc), and see what begins to emerge. Write without thinking, allow the words to simply flow free, as you witness where you are and what needs to be expressed and explored. You can do this once a day or 18 times a day. Write as a structured practice, where you set aside a designated time and maybe even a designated space in your home, or as a creative outlet, where you write whenever and wherever.
Here are some prompts that might help you get started:
What would you like to let go of?
Attachments, unhealthy habits or thought patterns, pain, grief, addictions, or anything that weighs heavy and doesn’t serve your greater purpose.
What would you like to welcome in?
Self-love, compassion, equanimity, discipline, pleasure, acceptance, or anything you believe might enhance your experience of being your best self.
What would you like to receive clarity about?
Relationships, work, the human experience, or the workings of the universe!
