🎉 It’s time to nominate! 🎉

We heard our community, and this year we are excited to let YOU help choose who will be honored at the 2nd Annual HCOC Mental Health Corporation Gala!

The award categories reflect our HCOC core values of Impact, Advocacy, Connection, Collaboration, and Legacy. These awards are meant to recognize individuals who are truly making a difference in the lives of others and strengthening the mental health of our communities.

When we say mental health professionals, we absolutely include clinicians and therapists, but we also want to expand the lens to recognize the many individuals who support mental and emotional wellness every day. This includes professionals who work across different roles and settings such as:

✨ Peer support specialists and advocates
✨ School and hospital social workers
✨ Community and case workers
✨ Administrative professionals working in mental health organizations
✨ Program coordinators, outreach workers, and support staff
✨ Psychiatric nurse practitioners
✨ Psychologists
✨ Psychiatrists

Mental health work happens in many spaces—in schools, hospitals, community agencies, nonprofits, and advocacy groups. We want to recognize those who help individuals feel supported, heard, and empowered while improving overall mental and emotional well-being in our community.

If you know a mental health professional of color who embodies these values and has made a meaningful impact, we invite you to nominate them!
