Creative Healing Integration, Inc.

Creative Healing Integration, Inc. The Creative Healing Integration (CHI) is a place to find a variety of resources to support your Mother Wound healing journey. Hi. I’m Mari Grande.

Author of 📘 "Overcoming The Mother Wound" available NOW. I am passionate about finding creative ways to connect, heal, and learn. As a licensed Art and Trauma Therapist, I love working with people and being part of their healing experience. I developed this space, CHI Creative Healing Integration ™, from what I believe is my soul’s purpose. After having a private in-person practice for over 20 years, I leaped into the online world as a venue to reach even more people. Creative Healing Integration has become a place where there are a variety of offerings and resources. You’ll find courses, guided meditations, and creative exercises to bring calm, clarity, and comfort. Coming from a trauma-informed background, I am aware of the healing powers that lie within, the courage and grace required to heal from adversity. This phenomenon is expressed in the Dahlia flower, which I honor as the Creative Healing Integration, Inc., logo.

The MARI framework reminds us that healing is not a straight line. Stage 2 teaches us to stay with sensation without rushing for answers. It asks, What is forming in you that hasn’t yet taken shape?

This is where the MARI mandala becomes a companion; it doesn’t demand answers. It offers a center. In art therapy, we learn that form follows feeling. Not the other way around.

When we allow form to arise from feeling, we let healing unfold in its own time.

In Stage 2 of the MARI, impressions arrive before definition. It’s like the way sunrise begins with a blush of light; you feel it first before you see it clearly.

In your own experience, where do you feel intuition arise first?
In your body, your breath, or your mood?
The mandala becomes a container for these impressions, offering a bridge between felt sense and visual expression.

Today, if you sit with a blank circle, what would your first mark be?

February arrives quietly, as the world keeps spinning. Dizzyingly.

Time keeps moving, but change often begins beneath the surface. In the language of the MARI Mandala, February corresponds to Stage 2 of the Great Round. This is not about clarity yet. It is about sensing, feeling, and early instinct before meaning takes form.

This stage gently invites us to notice what is present in our bodies and hearts before our minds can explain it. Restlessness, tenderness, fleeting intuition, these are all part of Stage 2’s language.

🌀 The mandala can help translate what is felt into something visible and understandable without forcing answers.

How does your body know what your mind hasn’t caught up with yet?

We’ve crossed into 2026, and with it comes a quiet invitation to begin again.

This month, I’m reflecting on the energy of one—unity, initiation, and the seed of what’s to come—through the lens of the MARI Mandala, a powerful tool in art therapy rooted in Jungian wisdom.

As the year gently winds down, many of us feel the call to slow, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most. In this short video, I guide you through a simple yet powerful mandala practice—no art experience needed.

✨ All you need is a piece of paper, some color, and a quiet moment.

This creative exercise is designed to help you:

Reconnect with yourself

Ground your emotions

Process the transition from one season to the next

Tap into the healing power of creativity

🌿 Mandalas are a sacred and intuitive way to explore your inner world. This practice invites presence, softness, and reflection—and can be returned to again and again.

If this speaks to you, I invite you to go deeper in Daughters of Critical Mothers, my self-guided healing course—currently 50% off for December, with a free copy of my digital book Overcoming the Mother Wound included.

As we near the end of the year, I’ve found myself slowing down.

Listening more closely.

Choosing what matters.

This month on the blog, I’m sharing some reflections from this season of transition, both personal and professional.

There’s a story about my first mandala, a glimpse into the grief I’ve been navigating, and a simple art practice to help you mark your own return to center.

This is for anyone holding something quiet.

Anyone standing at the edge of a chapter.

There’s also a gentle offering tucked inside the post, a little support for those on the healing path.
