Creative Healing Integration, Inc. The Creative Healing Integration (CHI) is a place to find a variety of resources to support your Mother Wound healing journey. Hi. I’m Mari Grande.

Author of 📘 "Overcoming The Mother Wound" available NOW. I am passionate about finding creative ways to connect, heal, and learn. As a licensed Art and Trauma Therapist, I love working with people and being part of their healing experience. I developed this space, CHI Creative Healing Integration ™, from what I believe is my soul’s purpose. After having a private in-person practice for over 20 yea

rs, I leaped into the online world as a venue to reach even more people. Creative Healing Integration has become a place where there are a variety of offerings and resources. You’ll find courses, guided meditations, and creative exercises to bring calm, clarity, and comfort. Coming from a trauma-informed background, I am aware of the healing powers that lie within, the courage and grace required to heal from adversity. This phenomenon is expressed in the Dahlia flower, which I honor as the Creative Healing Integration, Inc., logo.

Stage 3 is not about clarity. It is about energy.

This is where many people get stuck.

We are often taught to wait until we are certain before we begin. To have a plan. To know the outcome.

But growth does not work that way.

In Stage 3 of the MARI Mandala, the psyche is just beginning to move. Energy is gathering, but it has not yet fully formed into direction.

This can feel like restlessness. Like wanting something without knowing what it is. Like standing at the edge of a beginning.

There may be excitement. There may also be doubt.

Both belong here.

This is not confusion. This is activation.

Something in you is waking up.

The invitation is not to force clarity, but to stay close to the energy. To follow the small movements. To allow curiosity to lead instead of control.

Because movement creates clarity, not the other way around.

What feels ready to emerge, even if you do not fully understand it yet?

Many people encounter mandalas as art or meditation. The MARI Mandala offers something deeper.

Developed by art therapist Joan Kellogg, the Mandala Assessment Research Instrument is a symbolic framework that maps the inner process of growth through twelve stages known as the Great Round.
Each stage reflects a different phase of human development, from beginnings and awakening to integration and renewal. Rather than a rigid system, it offers a language for understanding how we move through cycles of change in our lives.

When we create mandalas, shapes, colors, and movement often reveal what is stirring beneath the surface. The image becomes a mirror for the inner landscape and can bring awareness to patterns, emotions, and possibilities that may not yet be fully conscious.

This is why mandala work is so powerful in personal development, creative exploration, and symbolic reflection.

What symbols or images have been appearing repeatedly in your life lately?

“We were created to be creative, not simply to consume.”

Creativity is not a luxury. It is part of our design.

When we create, something inside us organizes itself. Thoughts settle. Emotions move. Meaning emerges.

This is why creative practices like mandala making can be so powerful in healing work. They allow the psyche to express what words cannot yet hold.

When was the last time you created something simply for the experience of creating?

March often brings a shift in energy. Something begins to stir beneath the surface.

In the language of the MARI Mandala, March corresponds with Stage 3 of the Great Round, the stage where movement begins. Energy gathers. Curiosity wakes up. A quiet sense of possibility emerges.

Stage 3 is not about having everything figured out. It is about noticing where vitality is beginning to move in your life.

The psyche begins to stretch beyond stillness. Creativity, exploration, and new pathways start forming.

In my latest reflection, I explore the deeper meaning of Stage 3 and how mandala work can illuminate the early layers of our emotional and psychological development.

What if your healing journey could be seen in color, shape, and image?

The MARI Mandala is a powerful art therapy tool rooted in the work of Joan Kellogg, Carl Jung, and Stanislav Grof. Rather than diagnosing or fixing, MARI offers a symbolic mirror of your inner experience.

Through the use of symbols and color, it helps you:
• See where you are on your emotional and psychological path
• Understand what is emerging or shifting within you
• Reconnect with your innate inner wisdom

It’s not just a mandala. It’s a map of your becoming.

Have you ever felt something stirring inside you—but struggled to name it?

The MARI might be the lens you’ve been looking for.

If February has felt tender, fluid, or full of mixed signals, you are not alone. The tension between asking your body to slow down while your spirit wants to leap forward can show up in surprising ways.

This is exactly the kind of moment where mandala making becomes support rather than strategy.

I’m offering an Embodiment & Mandala Making Workshop on
Sunday, February 22, 12:00–2:00 pm

A space to slow down, return to your body, and explore what wants your attention now.

No art experience needed. Just a willingness to show up as you are.

Fire Horse energy is catalytic and bold, while Stage 2 wants softness and sensing. When these energies meet, it can feel like parts of you are on different timelines.

This tension is not a flaw. It is a sign of growth.

Mandala making becomes a bridge, not by giving you answers, but by offering a steady center you can return to when inner forces seem at odds.

Your body remembers what your mind forgets.

✨ Let your body lead the way. Join Sunday’s mandala workshop to return to what feels true. Link in bio.
