Raise your hand if you’ve been personally victimized by perfectionism in the field of speech pathology. 🙋🏽‍♀️

My journey to becoming an SLP was full of rejection. Applications that went nowhere. Moments where I genuinely questioned if I was cut out for this. When I started building businesses, there were even more nos. I had zero experience, no roadmap, just a lot of trial and error. Heavy on the error.

And I know how easy it is to scroll through someone’s Instagram and see the awards, the pretty office, the thriving private practice, the day-in-the-life posts that look nothing like your life and think you’re behind.

But here’s the thing. Every single person you admire started at zero. You might be looking at their chapter 10 and comparing it to your preface. That’s not a fair fight.

Your beginning is allowed to look like a beginning.
It’s not the end, it’s the making of your success. That’s where all the magic happens. And I’m so proud of how far you’ve already comee. 🫶🏽
