✨ Exciting day at the office!

Dr. Robinson recently demonstrated the Fraxel FTX (Fast Tracking Experience) a next-generation non-ablative fractional laser by Solta Medical on a patient who was seeking skin rejuvenation.

Fraxel FTX uses 1550nm and 1927nm wavelengths to help improve acne scars, wrinkles, sun damage, and pigmentation on the face, neck, chest, and hands. Beyond cosmetic improvement, Fraxel can also act as a preventive, non-invasive treatment by targeting precancerous cells (actinic keratoses), repairing cumulative sun damage, and helping reduce the risk of non-melanoma skin cancer all while offering effective skin resurfacing with minimal downtime.

Our study is exploring how non-invasive fractional laser treatment combined with topical medication may provide an effective approach for certain skin cancers, offering patients innovative options. Early results show near complete elimination of BCCs and SCCs with just one short treatment, minimal disruption for the patient, and excellent cosmetic outcomes.

July is UV Safety Awareness Month - a time to raise awareness about the harmful effects of ultraviolet (UV) rays and the importance of protecting your skin.

Whether it’s sunny, cloudy, or somewhere in between, UV radiation can damage your skin year-round. This month is a great reminder to make sun safety part of your daily routine!

Did you know that 1 in 5 Americans will develop skin cancer in their lifetime? The good news: most skin cancers are highly preventable & treatable when caught early!

That’s why the AAD Member, American Academy of Dermatology reminds us to always when we’re outside. A few simple habits can make a big difference:

✅ Wear sunscreen daily (SPF 30 or higher)
🧢 Rock a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses
🌳 Stick to the shade, especially midday
👕 Cover up with protective clothing
🕶 Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours (or after swimming/sweating)

I was told that I needed Mohs surgery For a cancer grow on my nose.
Mohs surgery is very invasive and I called Dr. Robinson who has a new procedure involving the laser removal of basal cell carcinoma
It took maybe 10 minutes, was painless, and the result was fabulous.
But that is just typical for the way Dr. Robinson treats his patients
I highly highly recommend him
