I get it — midlife hits every woman differently. And to be honest, the before wasn’t even that bad, HOWEVER, I didn’t feel like me at all and I had no idea why.
Some feel nothing… I felt everything. And so do a lot of women in our little midlife IG crew.
So what helped me bounce back?
1. Mindset first: midlife isn’t the end — you’re not invisible.
2. Discipline > motivation: I wasn’t always “feeling it,” I just kept showing up.
3. Lift heavy: building muscle is EVERYTHING for strength, shape, bones, and metabolism. (I’m still working on this)
4. Prioritize protein: it made a big difference for my body.
5. Rest + recover: less overtraining, more sleep. (7–9 hours.)
