American Obesity Center Dr. Starpoli specializes in the incisionless, endoscopic treatment of reflux and obesity and treats the spectrum of gastrointestinal disorders.

Dr. Anthony Starpoli and Greenwich Village Gastroenterology offer comprehensive care for gastrointestinal disorders such as acid reflux, Barrett's Esophagus, GERD, abdominal pain, ulcers, H. pylori, bleeding, colitis, hemorrhoids, colon polyps, colonoscopy for colon cancer screening and the management of weight gain and obesity. Dr. Starpoli performs incisionless surgery (TIF) for GERD with EsophyX and treats obesity with the endoscopic (incisionless) sleeve gastroplasty with Overstitch, intragastric balloons as well endoscopic suturing for the revision of failed gastric bypass. Dr. Starpoli is affiliated with Northwell Lenox Hill Hospital, Mt. Sinai Beth Israel Medical Center and NYU Langone Medical Center.
