Whole grains are a staple of the plant-based diet. There are so many options including brown rice, wild rice, quinoa, barley, steel cut oats and the list goes on. One of the challenges when beginning a plant- based lifestyle is learning to prepare foods that may be new to you. I still have some days when my wild rice is supper mushy 😩, BUT the good news is that it gets better. Be patient with yourself and keep trying 💪🏾. An instapot and rice cooker can be helpful IJS.
