Whole grains are a staple of the plant-based diet. There are so many options including brown rice, wild rice, quinoa, barley, steel cut oats and the list goes on. One of the challenges when beginning a plant- based lifestyle is learning to prepare foods that may be new to you. I still have some days when my wild rice is supper mushy 😩, BUT the good news is that it gets better. Be patient with yourself and keep trying 💪🏾. An instapot and rice cooker can be helpful IJS.

Yes you’ll!!!!!! Ginger ale is soda. Soft drinks are the beverage of choice for millions of Americans, but sugary drinks increase the risk of type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and other chronic conditions.
The beverage industry makes billions off our addiction to sugar and caffeine. A good place to begin with your lifestyle change is to avoid drinking your calories.

The legalization of adult-use cannabis is an enormous shift in public policy. The regulatory framework outlined in the MRTA is currently under development and will require input from communities and stakeholders throughout the state. The Office of Cannabis Management needs to draft and issue regulations to implement the law before adult-use sales can begin.
