Keep your head in place as your body rotates in your golf swing

Specifically the backswing

It will help keep your eyes on the prize

aka the golf ball.

You’ll find this in the “dynamic golf exercise” section in my golf longevity workouts.

Some of are genetically fast swinging golfers.

Some of us aren’t.

Regardless of which group you fall into, the physical and neurological qualities that lend to swinging fast can be enhanced in the gym

With the right selection of exercises, resistances, volume, and intent.

Follow this page to get updated, simple golf mobility movments that you can implement daily.

This routine, if you do 10 reps each side, takes 5 minutes or less.

Do it every day, you accomplished 35 minutes golf flexibility that will help your swing.

That doesn’t seem like much, but if your main goal is longevity then a little goes a longer way than nothing at all.

Comment “longevity” if you save a bunch of videos like these and never end up doing them.

You have 1 or both of these issues if your foot doesn’t stay down in your backswing.

1. Ankle pronation

Even though you can’t see it happening, the ankle pronates (turns in) to keep your foot down as you turn over it.

If you don’t have mobility in the ankle, the foot will roll out which will make it impossible to anchor yourself to the floor for a maximum coil.

2. Hip internal rotation

If your hip runs into of room to turn, you’ll start turning from somewhere else in the kinetic chain to deepen the backswing.

This compensation can happen in a number of areas, and the ankle is one of them.

Which test(s) do you fail?
