The open book — loaded with a 35lb kettlebell.
Most golfers do this with no weight and wonder why it doesn’t carry over to their swing.
Adding load does two things:
Creates a stretch you can actually feel through the T-spine.
Trains your body to rotate against resistance — just like a golf swing.
This is a version I use once basic mobility is there.
If you can’t do it unloaded, start there.
If you can — add the weight and feel the difference.
Your backswing will thank you.
