If you've talked to me in person lately, you may know I've been sitting on this idea of an emotional reset for months. I was searching for something that felt right and true to what I've been feeling, witnessing and hoping for.

Watching multiple gen0-sides around the world, as well as the horrors at home, has led me here.

A need to consistently emotionally reset, and reminding myself through political education, community, and staying engaged, why I continuously resurge, why I must go on. Resetting and resurging, is to take stock of where we are, and asking ourselves how to move forward.

So I offer, a channeled meditation and a space, to ruminate over some quotes and questions that (hopefully) get our gears turning and spark meaningful discussion. To look at the bigger picture, the overarching landscape, and decide on our unique smaller steps to continue to create, build, learn, organize and harness what collective has to offer. The Vernal Equinox is on Monday :) so I finally got around to making this spread!
For those who aren't privy: Equinoxes happen twice a year. They have equal (12) daylight and night hours! They also mark the official first days of Spring and Autumn (Vernal Eq. is spring( in March) and Autumnal Eq. is Autumn (in September)). After the vernal equinox every day (measuring daylight) is a few minutes longer than the last until the Summer Solstice in June.
Spring is associated with growing (the beginning of the cycle, sowing seeds etc.), refreshing energy, new life, vitality and so I tried to capture that in this spread. DM to schedule your reading, this spread is a great way to reset! :)

I wire wrapped this Malachite as a gift for someone this past December. I'm so proud of how it came out. I was actually inspired by a friend who complimented something I wrapped for myself, and it made me feel brave enough to try a bigger crystal. (I'm planning to wrap that friend one too, we have a crystal shopping date🔮) I love Malachite. It is such a beautiful crystal. It is the crystallized version of copper! Yes!! The stuff pennies are made out of, crazy right? The swirls are so inviting to me. Malachite (as said before) is associated with negating bad vibes, leadership, and confidence.

Here are some love spreads I've done. There is a spread for everything! Two of these are spreads.
I do not reveal full interpretations to protect my clients' privacy, but I challenge other readers to use their intuition, what is the overall story you're getting from these spreads?

The first spread is a general evaluating relationships spread. This can be used for any relationship, and this reading specifically was about love. The second spread is a compatibility spread and the last is a "stay or go" spread.

From Pinky to Thumb: Death, The Fool, The Empress, The Chariot and Strength.

Fun fact, the Artist behind Rider-Waite, Pamela Coleman Smith was the first to include illustrations for Minor Arcana instead of using just symbols.Traditionally only Major Arcana would be accompanied by art. She changed the way tarot cards are printed, by giving us new meaning in her depictions.

A lovely shout-out to She snapped on these nails! She makes customs, all you have to do is ask for what you want, but Ieshia surprised me and told me she had something special for me! From the stiletto shape to the gold leaf touch here, this set is gorgeous! The beading on this set is perfect too, it's an accent that makes the nails feel tied together. Here are the results of yesterday's collective reading.

Tonight's full moon in Cancer brings a sense of emotional honesty. Be honest with yourself and how you feel this phase, accept what is instead of bottling or shielding and be kind to yourself🌕♋

💎Left/Obsidian: 5 of Pentacles. This card is associated with poverty, financial loss, lack mindset, worry, isolation. You might be feeling low this month. This lack this card points to could be money, time, energy, boundaries. Evaluate where you feel scarce in your life. Ask yourself how you can bridge this gap this month. What areas need progress, movement, effort? Obsidian is associated with protection and with this card I get the feeling addressing this scarcity will help you feel more secure.

💎Middle/Malachite: 2 of Swords. This card represents decision, weighing options, impasse. 2 of swords is not a choice you willingly make, but rather a decision your life requires you to make, there is inherent pressure relying on the decision. This month you may find some sort of crossroads presented to you. Ask yourself if there is a decision you've been putting off and explore why you've been avoiding it. And well... as the card states a decision will need to be made, so be proactive and make it!

💎Right/Angelite: 8 of Pentacles. This card is associated with mastery, skill building, rinse & repeat, apprenticeship. This month will be about building for you. Look out for opportunites that relate to areas you want to improve in. Skills you can hone and the resources that are within your grasp. Ask yourself what areas you wish to grow in. Becoming skilled at something takes regiment. Do what you need to do this month to truly excel at your chosen area.

🍁This is my Autumnal Equinox reading from last week:

1. Overall Energy: 10 of Wands... Definitely true, everything in my life right now feels burderning, heavy. A lot has been going on.

2. Future: 9 of Pentacles. Yes! I have a job lined up after college and it is exciting, but nevertheless slowly approaching. My tarot business has been blowing up a bit, this indicates more growth to come.

3. Half Full: 8 of Pentacles. I have been working on skill building and they are in a good place. I have honed many in all different areas and have promise to show for it.

4. Half Empty: Page of Swords. I've been in a rut when it comes to learning new things recently. My zest to seek out new things, my curiosity for my classes is half empty right now.

5. Let go: 6 of Pentacles. Generosity is something I should ease off. I've been maybe too charitable and too open to other's suggestions. It's time to take back my time, energy and money.

6. Harvest: Knight of Swords. Ambition, drive, action oriented energy are all things I'm harvesting right now. I've definitely been feeling motivated with things like tarot, and hope to keep stoking this fire.

Overall the dominant presence of pentacles indicates my cruxes of problems and success are likely surrounding finances & achievement.

Today is one of my favorite holidays, the Autumnal Equinox🍂

Every year we get a nearly perfect day of 12 hours of daylight🌞 & 12 night hours🌚(Due to the Earth's tilted axis).

This occurence also marking the beginning of Autumn🍁
In honor, I finally got around to making a tarot spread for the season.

The themes I had in mind when making this were of harvest season, the equal night and day and as always growth🌱

🎴 Let's talk tarot basics 🎴

When I start a reading, I like to go over the basics with my customers. I feel it helps them after the reading is done; when they refer back to their transcript, they'll have a fuller picture of what energy each card is embodying.

Tarot is comprised of 78 cards, split into two decks, Major and Minor Arcana.

Major Arcana are numbered 0-21. When they come up in a reading they indicate a major shift in your life is occurring. These cards can be thought of as the big puzzle pieces of life and indicate something pivotal: good, bad, or neutral is at hand. Above I have The Hermit, one of my favorite cards, often one that shows up for people in their 20s and The Devil which I feel is also a well known card. Both are Major Arcana cards.

Minor Arcana are labeled Ace through King. They contain both numbered cards and Court cards. Minor Arcana are split into 4 types. If you are familiar enough with astrology, each type is associated with an element. If Major Arcana are the big pivotal points, Minor Arcana are the details in between.

Cups represent the emotional consciousness, the water element.
Wands represent the ego and self-concept, the fire element.
Swords represent decisions and intellect, the air element.
Pentacles represent finances and achievement, the earth element.

Court cards are the Pages, Knights, Queens and Kings in each suit respectively. When they come up they can indicate a person, either the person the reading is for or someone else.

These photos are from an event I did earlier this year back in May. I think that asking specific 1-card questions can be really helpful to get the clarity you need. For new tarot users asking a daily question for 1 card is also a really good way to learn a cards' meaning and broaden your interpretations.
