This lovely family booked a Brooklyn Bridge & DUMBO photoshoot with Times Square Photo Studio, and we had such a wonderful time capturing their memories together. The cobblestone streets of DUMBO, the Manhattan skyline, and the timeless views of the Brooklyn Bridge always create the perfect backdrop for family portraits in NYC.

We love photographing secret proposals, and this one was no exception 💍✨
This proposal took place on the rooftop of the Hard Rock Hotel in Times Square, and for us it was a very interesting experience. Despite photographing many proposal sessions around New York City, we had never worked at this location before. And as every New Yorker knows, the city is so big and constantly changing that there are always new spots to discover.

For this session, Anna, our head photographer, carefully scouted the location ahead of time and found the perfect hidden spot to stay out of sight with the camera so the couple wouldn’t notice anything when they arrived.

When the couple walked onto the rooftop, it was clear that the future fiancé was very nervous — and understandably so. He was about to experience one of the biggest moments of his life.

And then… it happened.

The proposal, the emotions, the surprise, and so many beautiful moments we were able to capture through our cameras.

Behind the scenes of preparing a cake smash photoshoot at Times Square Photo Studio 🎂📸

One of the things we love most about birthday sessions is that every setup is completely unique. From choosing the backdrop and colors to planning the decor and even recommending what kind of cake will work best for the photos, we work closely with our clients to create a personalized experience for their little one’s big milestone.

Cake smash photoshoots are such a beautiful way to capture the joy, curiosity, and pure happiness of childhood. These sessions celebrate an important moment in a baby’s life while giving parents memories they’ll be able to look back on for years to come.

For this session, we created a custom setup for a baby boy’s birthday shoot. And after the cake smash fun, we’ll also photograph a few family portraits with a clean white backdrop for some timeless images together.
