I remember it like it was yesterday…

Ersin and I were starting to get serious and staying in Aus was looking more and more likely, but this major problem hit me like a ton of bricks.

I needed my girls!! (The problem was they weren’t here)

Now I moved away from home at 18, so being far from family is something (I hate, but) I’m familiar with. As a result, I’ve gotten really good at building family wherever I go.

But at this stage I was two years into my time in Australia and I still didn’t have my crew.

Now for me, this was actually a non-negotiable. Like I knew I couldn’t survive being this far from family without THOSE kinda friends.

Not like drinks on a Friday night friends.
I’m talking ride or die friends.

The kind you can ugly cry on their couch.
The ones that meet you at the mall when you’re in a panic because you realize you hate your bachelorette dress the day before you leave (thank you ).
The girls that don’t just show up for the hard stuff, but are your biggest cheerleader when you win big.

So I prayed. Hard.

And within a few weeks I was invited to a tennis club. Hitz & Spritz.

Little did I know my life was about to change. Truly an answer to prayer.

A few weeks ago I got to celebrate the ultimate dream come true: bachelorette party in my favorite city with ALL of my ride or die girls in one place.

Somebody pinch me.

There is nothing more powerful than a girl crew that truly has each other’s backs.

If you’re lonely and you haven’t found yours yet…I cannot urge you enough…pray and put yourself out there.

Go to the tennis club.
Encourage the random girl with the cool shoes in the coffee shop.
Be the kinda friend you want and I guarantee you you’ll find your people.

Even if those reels were filled with mind-blowing knowledge. 

This generation knows more about health than any before us…

Yet, we are the least healthy generation of all time. 

Knowledge isn’t power. Knowledge is potential power that must be released through action.

3 ways to keep progress from stalling 👇

Now that you know the specific way your body tries to stop you from losing weight…

The solution is actually simple!

Here’s how you’re going to keep your NEAT high, so you can keep losing body fat:

1️⃣ More steps: start with a minimum of 7k and add 0.5 km per week when you’re in a calorie deficit.

2️⃣ More standing: petition for that standing desk at work! And move while you’re using it.

3️⃣ More microbreaks: 2-4 microbreaks per day will not only keep your NEAT high, but improve your work performance!

I’m too busy to waste time on health habits that don’t have a good return on investment.

You too? Here’s what I do instead…

For so long, I followed the latest health trend: juice cleanses, detoxes, ice baths, cryo.

But I’ve been in this industry long enough to tell the difference between a fad and a foundational principle.

I hate wasting time, so here’s how I approach health habits: 
1. Prioritise principles 
2. Play with trends

There are 10 core principles (I call them High Performance Habits) that I build with every client.

These should be stacked one at a time and protected in your calendar like a business meeting.

When you build them right, they become second nature — part of your daily life with minimal effort.

At the same time, sure… play with trendy habits. Just don’t let them take precedence over your Core 10.

Here’s the key: treat trends like a test drive. Try them, then ask → Do I actually like this? How does it make me feel? What value does it add?
If it doesn’t serve you — toss it.
