No, it doesn't! According to research, about 300 follicles each month begin to grow. Only one of them will mature to the point of ovulation, the rest of them are lost and reabsorbed into the body. When you go through an egg freezing cycle, the stimulation medications you take encourage more of those 300 follicles to grow to the point of maturity (15-20 is the goal depending on age, etc.). These are follicles that would otherwise have been lost that same cycle. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6127894/
