Reset & Rewire is a practice developed by holistic energy and movement coach, Sara Fay, and voice teacher and singer, Kayla Green. After working with one another in their respective fields of expertise Sara and Kayla devised a class that combines their personal practices to expand the voice, the body, the emotional capacity and the ability to release. 45 minute vocal practice. 45 minute movement practice. Leave feeling grounded and sounded.

Kayla Green is a voice teacher and singer specializing in the Inside Voice Technique: an ecstatic, 5-octave, mindbody approach to voice and song taught to her by Jonathan Stancato. She teaches voice workshops to every level and style of singer, as well as has a fulfilling private client practice in NYC and all over the world via zoom. Her work is rooted in the emotional presence of the true voice and how the voice brings forth much needed catharsis in its natural state.

Sara Fay George is an Interdisciplinary Artist, Energy Worker, and Movement Teacher at Maggie Flanigan Studio. She specializes in Therapeutic Movement and Embodiment. She brings with her an extensive background in facilitating catharsis through creative practices, movement, and breath. Her study of Energy Anatomy encompasses Reiki, Druidism, as well as the Vedic and Traditional Chinese Medicine systems. She is the creator of The Holistic Method, an energy training technique for the physical and emotional body.

August 10th is the birthday of my Grandmother, Johnnie Fay. I carry her name and the Fay lineage of our ancestors. She was an amazing woman with an indomitable spirit. She loved Diet Coke, Misty ci******es, and Makers Mark. Her fried chicken and mashed potatoes were otherworldly. She owned power tools, built furniture, and read Lois L’amour novels. Her skin was like paper. She taught me grit and denied every convention of how I though a woman “should be.” I carry you with me Grandma Fay. Now and always.

The Holistic Method for Actors Level 2 workbook by will be available starting in September. So happy to be able to offer these workbooks to accompany my Movement Classes .

In Level 2 we expand our research of the Chakra’s in Level 1 to explore the Meridians of Five Phase Theory in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Level 2 focus on Emotional Preparation and learning how emotion moves through the body from the organ to the extremities.

With these foundations, actors are ready to begin exploring character!
