S&A Unified Home Care joined forces with Alex from Open Hand Food Pantry on Saturday 9/6 to organize an outstanding event for our community, aimed at educating everyone about the valuable services offered by each vendor. It was truly inspiring to witness such strong collaboration, with 17 agencies coming together to support our shared mission. Your support and enthusiasm played a pivotal role in making this event possible, and the collective energy made the day genuinely memorable despite the hot, humid weather and the rain. Thank you to Council Member Kristy Marmorato office, VNS Health, Anthem, Fidelis Care, Center Light Pace, Apple Bank, Care Callobs, Neighborhood Shopp, PrimAmerica, Grand Vida Social Day Care,Mary Kay, Catholic Charities, Catholic Guardian Services, Mayors office of Public engagement, Fun Generation Day Care and Special Thsnk you to my Bronx S&A Unified Home Care team! Maribel Mercado the President of the Bronx Puerto Rican Day parade was the MC. We had elected officials present as well! I am so humbled and honored to have been selected for the Bridge Builders 2025 Women Awards! It truley is a privilege to be acknowledged for the work one does within the Community. When you carry out your duties with genuine dedication and passion, it becomes evident to everyone around you. I take great pride in my work, and my greatest reward is knowing that I have helped a patient get the care they need. Additionally, providing peace of mind to the care givers is equally fulfilling. Thank you Gabriela Silverio and the Bridge Builder’s organization for this recognition; it motivates me to continue striving for excellence and making more positive impact in my Community! Today’s event was truly remarkable and I had the pleasure of seeing many vendors and speaking to seniors who attended. It was great engaging with them both it contributed to the success of the event. The highlight of the event was receiving a Proclamation from NYS Senator Luis R Sepúlveda acknowledging my work in his Community. I am once again deeply honored and grateful for this recognition. This recognition is a testament to the incredible support from the Community. I would like to extend my most sincere thanks to Rev Carmen Hernandez , whose efforts made this recognition possible. S&A Unified Home Care sponsors the Throggneck Alliance Valentine’s Day Event! We had such a fantastic time. Watching the Seniors dressed in their Valentines Day Colors. They had some really delicious lunch and danced and played Bingo. They had a visit from our elected officials, Bronx Borough President, Vanessa Gibson and New York State Assembly Member, Michael Benedetto. The event ended with pink cup cakes- ice cream and raffles. It was such a great event. Giving back to the Community is what S&A Unified Hone Care does the best! If you need home care for a loved one, we are here to assist.
