Does your neck hurt?
So your head won't actually become heavier due to terrible posture but for every inch forward from neutral alignment that your head is, thats another ten pounds of work for your neck.
This is a common way to create 'insidious' neck or shoulder pain and a great way to become hunchback! (note the forward flexed thoracic vertebrae and decreased joint space between the shoulders)
Favorite way to fix this?
Put your phone away. (or you can hold it higher)
Also try standing with your back to a wall and see if you can press the back of your neck into the wall while elongating it.
