Palm Sunday 🌿
Jesus enters Jerusalem to shouts of praise, yet the journey ahead leads to sacrifice. This moment reminds us how quickly life can change and calls us to remain faithful through both joy and uncertainty.

Fifth Sunday of Lent 🤍
Jesus calls Lazarus from the tomb, revealing that even in the face of loss and sorrow, new life is possible. Through faith, we are reminded that hope endures and that we are never alone in our hardest moments.

Grateful for such a thoughtful act of kindness 💐

We were honored to receive nearly 90 beautiful floral arrangements for our residents at Terence Cardinal Cooke and Providence Rest Nursing Homes, generously delivered by ArchCare board member, Steve Bujno and Michael Smilek from the Order of Malta. ArchCare shares a special relationship with the Order—grounded in service, compassion, and care for others.

Thank you to ArchCare teams for making their visit special!

We especially extend our sincere appreciation to Kenneth Craig from the Order of Malta, for arranging access to the flowers from the Friendly Sons’ Dinner. We know these arrangements will bring joy and brighten many days.

St. Patrick’s Day is filled with smiles and a lot of green across ArchCare 🍀

From bingo games and festive cupcakes to cookies with green sprinkles (and even a few inflatable leprechaun suits) our residents and care members enjoy celebrating together.

St. Patrick is remembered for bringing Christianity to Ireland and for a life devoted to resilience, and service to others. His story continues to inspire celebrations around the world and joyful moments of community.

Fourth Sunday of Lent
Jesus restores the sight of a man born blind, reminding us that true vision comes not only through our eyes, but through the heart. When we begin to see with faith and compassion, our hearts and our lives can be transformed.

Skilled Nursing News Reports: After the Storm: What Nursing Home Providers Learned from January’s Extreme Winter Weather Event

Extreme weather events remind us how critical preparation and teamwork are in senior care. We’re proud of our teams for their dedication to keeping residents safe and supported, no matter the conditions.

Nursing home operators have learned a lot from the recent severe winter storms which spanned 24 states and subjected states like Oklahoma to minus 20

Today we celebrate Employee Appreciation Day by recognizing the incredible people who make ArchCare what it is.

Across our communities, our employees, who we lovingly call care members, bring compassion, dedication, and heart to the care they provide every day. Whether supporting residents, participants, patients, or one another, their commitment helps create the supportive environment that defines ArchCare.

Thank you to all of our care members for the work you do and the difference you make in the lives of so many. 💙

There is one week left to make our voices heard. Your outreach truly makes a difference, especially now.

As New York legislators finalize one-house budget proposals, it is critical that long-term care — and the older adults who rely on it — remain a priority. Sustainable funding for nursing homes is essential to protect access to care, support our workforce, and stabilize services across our communities.

We encourage our ArchCare community to take a few minutes to send a letter or call their state legislators. It’s easy and takes only a few moments of your time.

We are truly blessed to once again be named a grantee of the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation.

Inspired by the example of Mother Frances Xavier Cabrini — who worked tirelessly for social justice and dedicated her life in service to the poor — the Foundation’s mission beautifully reflects the spirit of compassion and courage that guides our own work.

Their faithful partnership empowers ArchCare to continue our healing ministry — extending compassionate, dignified care to those most in need and honoring the sacredness of every life we serve.

During Women’s History Month, it is especially meaningful to celebrate a legacy shaped by a woman of extraordinary faith and action. Together, we remain committed to advancing health equity across New York, building healthier communities rooted in love, service, and justice.

We are deeply grateful for this shared calling and the opportunity to serve.
