American-Italian Cancer Foundation AICF supports cancer research, education, and control, and serves the economically disadvantaged and medically underserved.

The International Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship Program supports the post-doctoral research of promising young scientists who work and train in collaboration with mentors at major cancer centers in the United States and Italy. Mobile No-Cost Breast Cancer Screening Program
AICF’s Mobile Mammography Program serves economically disadvantaged and medically underserved women in New York City who are age 40 and over and have not had a mammogram in the last 12 months. Many of these women have geographic, cultural, or linguistic barriers to receiving screening services and do not make annual screenings for breast cancer a priority. AICF’s mobile clinics travel to priority neighborhoods in the five boroughs to deliver mammograms, clinical breast exams, and instruction in breast self exam. The Program’s mobile nature makes it easy to access important—and potentially lifesaving—breast cancer screening services. All services are provided at no cost, regardless of health insurance status.
