Today is Vietnam War Veterans Day, an annual commemoration honoring the sacrifices of Vietnam War veterans and their families – a group that was often denied proper recognition and never received an official welcome home. First recognized in 1974, the date marks the withdrawal of the last U.S. combat troops from Vietnam and the return of the final prisoners of war to American soil.

MJHS has and continues to be deeply committed to meeting the unique needs of those who served: from providing trauma‑informed care and having a dedicated Veterans Program Manager, to mentoring organizations as a Level 5 partner of the National Alliance for Care at Home’s We Honor Veterans program.
