Many years ago, we started to learn that the reason that we get fat is because we are eating too much.

If we eat more calories than our body needs, then our body creates a problem by sending messages to the brain that tells us to eat more. We know then that we are full, so we stop eating.

However we are not aware of the messages our bodies are sending our brain to tell us that we are over-full. Many doctors have said that there is no such thing as a safe level of fat intake because fat does more to your health than any other nutrient.

However the problem in taking too much is often that we have a tendency to eat too much, which then makes us hungry. We then have an automatic tendency to eat even more, which then makes us eat even more, and on and on, ad infinitum.

So the question that is often asks of dieters is; "How do you keep yourself from eating uncontrollably and thus eating into your fat reserves?". Most dieters are in for a rude awakening because the body can easily tell the user, who is dieting, when she is full, and will stop her body from eating.

What is a safe fat intake?

The correct fat intake must be set based on a body's individual requirements. Each body has a set fat requirement based on her age, weight, activity and the diet she had while growing up in the home. A diet with adequate fat intake for some people will not make the body to absorb fat. A well balanced diet with adequate fat will contain fatty acids like omega 3, 6, 9, and 10, omega 9 which are essential to the functioning of the cell, but not the excessive amounts of omega 6 which are in many fast foods. She should always take it in the right quantity but not more than 2-3 grams per day, the body is unable to absorb it. The diet should include oily fish, green vegetables, nuts, whole grains and fruits. Her body then becomes healthier and more efficient in removing fat from the body.

What is the best way to keep yourself from overeating and eating excessively?

It is very important to keep an eye on her fat reserves. She should watch what she eats and the fat content of the foods she consumes. She should have a good balance diet which not only contains the fatty acids but also contains other foods she needs like carbohydrates, proteins and vitamins and minerals. This way the diet is balanced and does not cause over eating. The best way to have a good balance diet is to have the right amount of calories and the right type of foods. She should not have sugary foods or food which are too dense with sugar. She should limit her exposure to junk foods or unhealthy foods. If she has sugary or junk foods, she should limit her exposure to them and switch over to healthier foods instead which does not cause her stomach to rumble, constricts her muscles, and causes a sense of nausea and weakness.

She should also have a balance diet that includes foods from the entire food group. Her body can easily absorb and metabolize the fat found in fish oils and walnuts.

A balanced fat intake has been proven to keep the heart healthy.

A good diet is the one that provides optimal nutrition that is free from contamination and unhealthy chemicals.
