Thinking about clear aligners? Here are 3 things to know before you start:

1. Consistency is everything.
Aligners only work if you wear them 20–22 hours a day. If they’re out more than they’re in, you won’t see the results you want.

2. Not every case is aligner-friendly.
Some tooth movements require braces for precision. A proper exam with an orthodontist (not a mail-order kit) is the only way to know what’s right for your smile.

3. Your doctor matters.
Clear aligners aren’t “DIY.” The planning, monitoring, and adjustments from your orthodontist determine the outcome. The right provider = the right results.
