Let them.

Let people be stupid. Let them be loud, wrong, dramatic, performative, messy.

Let them think they know better. Let them post the thinkpiece. Let them have the last word. Let them misread you, underestimate you, misinterpret everything you stand for.

Let them.

Because most people are doing their best—with what they know, what they’ve lived, and what they’re carrying.

And honestly? Trying to manage other people’s perceptions, reactions, and journeys will drain you faster than anything else.

So I’m choosing peace. I’m choosing focus. I’m choosing not to fix, not to prove, not to perform. Just to be.

Let them. And let you live.

Trying to ease my way back into this space…

No big comeback post, just a little reminder to myself that it’s okay to take up space again.

The last few… however many days? weeks? months? years? ... have been a blur. Between motherhood, work, trying to keep a grip on my mental health, and just existing while people around me have a lot of big feelings... It’s been a lot.

Some days I feel grounded. Other days I’m floating through it all, just doing my best to keep going.

And honestly? People have been weird. The internet has been weird. The state of the world has been weird. Conversations have been weird. Energy has been weird. Boundaries feel weird. Even the silence has been weird.

But despite all that, I’ve been sitting on so much content. So many thoughts, technology, moments, quiet wins, friendships, photos, chaos, beauty.

I miss creating just for me. No strategy. No pressure. Just the joy of sharing and connecting.

So here I am, not with a plan or a schedule, but with an intention: to come back to the parts of this that I loved. The parts I love. The storytelling, the self-expression, the honest glimpses into life as it actually is.

If you're still here, hi. I’ve missed you.
Let’s see where this goes. 🖤

So my thing now as a new auntie is children's book.

And this book has this one page that says "R is for is for RUTH BADER GINSBURG , Supreme Court justice and the queen of dissent. FIGHT FOR THE THINGS THAT YOU CARE ABOUT , BUT DO IT IN A WAY THAT WILL LEAD OTHERS TO JOIN YOU."

And honestly... Same.
