Speech is made possible by a complex system involving the brain, lungs, diaphragm, voice box, and the many structures inside the mouth. Together, these parts form what we call the speech machine.

By learning how speech sounds are produced, we can better understand communication and provide effective strategies for speech therapy. This knowledge helps us support clearer, more confident communication for individuals of all ages.
